Given the firm’s strategic planning and continued growth they are seeking a talented Sr. Project Architect to assume a key project leadership role.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Project Architect is a collaborative and integral team member, actively engaged in the coordination and documentation through construction administration of complex higher education science/lab and healthcare facilities with the most esteemed institutions. S/he will work closely with Principals in the development of compelling design and technical solutions for graduate and undergraduate Engineering, STEM, Lab Sciences and Healthcare buildings across the U.S. and internationally. As a trusted member of the project team, the Sr. Project Architect will have a depth of experience with technically complex projects.
The Sr. Project Architect is an active and engaged professional interested in creating vital, innovative environments for science teaching, research and healthcare, while enhancing the campus experience. S/he will be joining an award-winning practice of passionate architecture and design professionals consistently striving to elevate design and technical excellence. With a passion for learning, s/he will increase familiarity with new industry trends and determine which approaches provide the greatest value and impact given each project. S/he is a self motivated and articulate professional passionate about design, who mentors junior staff and champions client and firm values.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
4-10+ years of progressive project leadership experience
Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree required
Architecture Licensure preferred: pursuit required; LEED AP preferred
Advanced understanding of architectural technology and production documentation for projects of various sizes and complexities
Research Labs and/or Healthcare project experience preferred
Excellent design and presentation skills
Outstanding written, verbal, visual communication skills
Collaborative problem solver with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks/deadlines
Demonstrated Revit and AutoCAD experience. Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
