Given the firm’s strategic planning and continued growth they are seeking a talented Senior Architect / PM to assume a key project and client leadership role.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Architect / PM is a collaborative and integral team leader, actively managing complex academic science, corporate science, and/or healthcare projects with the most esteemed institutions. They will work closely with Principals in the management of compelling design and technical solutions for graduate and undergraduate Engineering, STEM, Lab Sciences, Corporate Research, and Healthcare buildings across the U.S. and internationally. As a trusted and well-rounded member of the project team, the Senior Architect / PM will have a depth of experience with technically complex projects and the ability to collaborate with the team’s technical and design talent.
The Senior Architect / PM is an active and engaged professional interested in creating vital, innovative environments for science teaching, research and healthcare, while enhancing the campus experience. They will be joining an award-winning practice of passionate architecture and design professionals consistently striving to elevate design and technical excellence. With a passion for learning, they will increase familiarity with new industry trends and determine which approaches provide the greatest value and impact for each project. The Senior Architect / PM is a self-motivated and articulate professional passionate about design, who mentors junior staff and champions client and firm values.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 8-15+ years of progressive project leadership experience
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree required
- Architecture Licensure preferred; LEED AP preferred
- Higher Education, Research Labs and/or Healthcare project experience preferred
- Prior experience as a Project Architect through all project phases.
- Demonstrated experience managing project financials, including project budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations
- Proven experience managing consultants and supervising junior staff
- Excellent design and presentation skills
- Outstanding written, verbal, visual communication skills
- Collaborative problem solver with ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks/deadlines
- Demonstrated Revit and AutoCAD experience. Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
