Given the firm’s continued growth, they are seeking talented Project Architects to assume key project leadership roles in the firm’s Atlanta Office.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client is currently seeking design focused and technically creative Project Architects to be actively involved in design concepts and architectural documentation, from schematic design through construction administration for impactful projects in the Atlanta Region and Nationally.

Project Architects are responsible for leading project teams, working closely with consultants, and handling building code analysis, submittal reviews, construction administration representation, and project closeout. Project Architects coordinate the delivery of project documents and services while collaborating with Project Managers and working closely with Senior Designers and Design Principals, assuring that the design intent is achieved.

Project Architects coordinate the effort of all team resources while being responsible for the implementation of design, quality and budget direction throughout all project phases. Particular experience in the management of multidisciplinary architecture, engineering and planning projects from concept design through construction administration is ideal. In addition, the firm's established Mentor Program provides significant opportunity for professional growth and opportunity with the close support of firm leadership.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch)
  • 5-10+/- years professional experience with progressive leadership responsibility, ideally with large multifamily, hospitality, higher education, or commercial projects
  • Licensure required, LEED accreditation preferred
  • REVIT + SketchUP proficiency
  • Knowledge of building codes and structures.
  • Full knowledge of architectural principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
