Given the firm’s continued growth, the Principals are seeking a Technical Design Leader to assume a key leadership role in their collaborative Philadelphia studio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Technical Design Leader will work closely with the Principals, Project Architects and project teams, leveraging their technical expertise and creativity to deliver technically strong multifamily, mixed-use and commercial projects. With an affinity for problem solving and strong design and construction detailing, this key leader will provide technical design expertise and oversight in the development of the entire design concept incorporating planning, engineering, and interiors. The Technical Leader is responsible for a project’s technical design effort, subsequent detailed design development, project coordination and quality control efforts for all phases while providing major input in developing a design and building performance strategy.
The Technical Design Leader oversees the preparation of design documents and the detailed development of construction documents. Adept with the big picture and the smallest details, they participate in and lead the review of design and construction documents for compliance with contract deliverables, mentor assigned team members to elevate their knowledge and expertise, and oversee construction administration services.
