With a growing portfolio and strategic growth opportunities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, they are seeking to identify a Senior Structural Engineer to play a key leadership role in the Philadelphia office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate is a Licensed Structural Engineer with expertise in the creative design and analysis of building structures, including new structures and adaptive reuse projects. The Senior Structural Engineer is a hands-on leader, knowledgeable in all types of building materials and construction techniques. S/he is actively involved on projects from proposal, investigation, analysis, and design through materials testing, construction documentation, and coordination. Each project is unique, and the firm's thoughtful, creative approach provides a platform for dynamic solutions that respond to the requirements of place, materiality and context. In close collaboration with the Philadelphia and Chicago leadership, s/he will lead complex projects, engage clients and consultants, and provide thoughtful leadership as the Philadelphia office grows. S/he must be technically strong in major building types and their primary systems. With minimal or no oversight, the Senior Structural Engineer will manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure project deliverables are completed to established company quality standards with consistent client follow-up.
