Regional VP

Leveraging the unique strengths of more than 195 team members across 9 offices nationwide, this firm is committed to enhancing and broadening its services with a focus on adding value to their Clients’ real estate portfolio. They compose an accurate project picture and provide straightforward, candid consulting services designed to protect their clients’ interests, mitigate inherent risk and realize the maximum benefit of the clients’ investment. As part of the firm’s continued growth, they are seeking to identify a Regional Vice President, to play a key role in the Seattle Region + Nationally.                  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will be a Seattle based Licensed Architect/Engineer or certified professional with established owner representation, construction document/ peer review, construction project management, property condition assessment, and/or construction monitoring experience in the Northwest Region. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership to broaden the scope and level of service provided, taking an active role in business development activities. They will be an integral partner for critical office activities including staffing, P&L, client management and overall growth of the region.

As a proactive seller-doer, this construction professional will lead a variety of consulting activities including, but not limited to, field observations, review of construction documents, corrective and cost recommendations, construction monitoring, capital needs assessment, evaluation of existing properties, owners' representation, turnkey repair work, seismic retrofit, resiliency and sustainability related services. They will engage in on-going client communication, manage and coordinate project work flow and growth of professional staff. They must be technically strong in major building types and their primary systems – advancing the technical knowledge of the office. This well-networked individual will play a key role in broadening the client base, managing client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered to established quality standards (i.e. quality, budget, schedule, etc.) with consistent client follow-up.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Architecture Licensure, Engineer Licensure and/or professional certification required
  • 15+ yrs relevant experience, including structural and architectural systems analysis, owner’s representation, design, property condition assessment or related forensic reviews.
  • Strong constructability experience with all commercial property types, including multifamily residential, industrial, retail, and office
  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential clients and services and convert those opportunities to active jobs while developing teams and service lines to match emerging client needs
  • Proven ability to work closely with clients while managing and producing within a team
  • Ability to travel for clients + projects up to 30% within the Pacific Northwest area.
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Competency with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, REVIT and other industry related software.
